Your family can relax in comfort with ocean views from your living room. Villa Mar Vista encompasses over 3600 square feet of living space in 6 bedrooms (four bedrooms have king beds), plus two dining areas, and a living room. We even provide you with porta-cribs, high chairs and games for the kids. The home is furnished with comfort in mind for large family groups.

You will have the perfect environment your 3-generation family group, reunion or corporate retreat. The huge backyard has a stainless steel BBQ Grill and a brand new aluminum Kettler Ping-Pong table. The oceanfront home sits on an estate-sized lot measuring approximately 70 feet wide by 180 feet deep. The fenced and gated back yard is approximately 5000 square feet and the large grassy front yard is great for playing soccer with the kids. There is even a 24-foot by 30-foot pool deck with oceanview seating for 20 persons along with additional seating and a large above-ground Hot Tub with ocean views.

Sunset Cliffs Nature Park at Your Door

Right outside your front door lies the 2-mile long oceanfront Sunset Cliffs Nature Park. Come enjoy the unspoiled beauty of Sunset Cliffs where joggers, walkers, hikers and bicyclists all enjoy the most unspoiled urban coastline in California. Directly west of Villa Mar Vista are tidepools that the kids can explore.

There are 5 sandy cove beaches nestled among the bluffs and the closest small cove beach (50 feet wide by 20 feet deep) is two blocks north of the house away and a large cove beach (approx. 400 feet wide by 50 feet deep) is two blocks south. For the closest beach with lifeguard towers you can take the kids to nearby Ocean Beach that stretches from the Ocean Beach pier (north of Villa Mar Vista) to the Mission Bay channel. This life guarded beach is totally flat with no bluffs and is over 1/2 mile long by 200 feet wide--it is a huge beach.

Residents and visitors alike will say "hello" on your way to go antique shopping on Newport Avenue, visit dozens of shops and restaurants or perhaps just to try your luck on the West Coast's longest fishing pier. The friendly atmosphere of San Diego's finest beach town will pleasantly surprise you.

Villa Mar Vista is a sprawling Ranch-Style family home with an "L- shaped" configuration. The dining room, living room and one of the master bedrooms all facing (west) enjoy gorgeous ocean views.

Offering 6 bedrooms, two dining areas, and living room--with all 5 bedrooms having direct access to a bath and 3 of the bedrooms enjoying a King size bed--the biggest 3-generation families have room to spread out. Large family reunion and corporate retreat groups will enjoy the new 60-inch Plasma HDTV with Hi-Def Cable Box and over 1200 channels. All bedrooms have Cable TV and WiFi throughout the house. The den opens onto the patio with outdoor seating for your group, and the huge fenced and gated yard. The living room and dining rooms are spacious for large groups and afford unparalleled views of the Pacific Ocean. The home is not fancy or pretentious--it is meant for large families to be able to spread out and relax.

Villa Mar Vista is among just a few oceanfront homes available in the Sunset Cliffs area of Point Loma--located due west of downtown San Diego. This means you will be less than 10 minutes from all the major San Diego attractions--Sea World, Old Town, the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, the historic Gaslamp District, Little Italy, the new Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum, the Convention Center. This puts you closer to San Diego's best attractions than any other oceanfront estate-sized home in San Diego.

Sunset Cliffs is a great location--just two blocks away is a little village retail area with shops and restaurants. Walking several blocks further brings you to the Ocean Beach pier which is the longest pleasure pier on the West Coast. There are hundreds of food and entertainment choices in nearby Ocean Beach. The amazing San Diego Wild Animal Park, Legoland and the sights of Mexico are just a half-hour by car.

Private Swimming Pool and Hot Tub--Optional pool/hot tub heat is $99 per night with a minimum number of nights equal to the length of your stay less one night. (A 7-night stay will have a minimum optional pool/hot tub heating fee of 6 nights X $99 = $594). Optional pool/hot tub heat at the rate of $99 per day is necessary to heat the in-ground hot tubs for those in-ground pools which have in-ground hot tubs attached to the swimming pools as is the case at Villa Sunset Modern and Villa Magnifica--as the swimming pool and the hot tub are on the same plumbing and heating system. At our other homes that have above-ground self-contained spas that are not attached to swimming pools like Cabo Hermosa and Villa Bermuda Beach there is no charge for heating the above ground hot tub at either home. Likewise, our Villa Mar Vista home has no charge for heating the above-ground self-contained hot tub as the $99 per day optional pool heat fee at Villa Mar Vista only heats the in-ground pool. So, if you desire free hot tub heating, please choose our homes with an above ground self-contained hot tub which is our Villa Mar Vista home, our Villa Bermuda Beach and our Cabo Hermosa homes.
