5 Star: Family vacation We took our family to San Diego for vacation this summer. This home was perfect! We have 4 older kids teens. Everyone had their own space. Kitchen was perfect for family meals. Beautiful views and plenty of places in walking distance! We loved this home and plan to return.

5 Star: 30th Birthday Family Trip We traveled to San Diego and stayed at Cabo Hermosa for my husbands 30th birthday. We had ages ranging from 4 to 60 and the house, and the experience, was perfect for everybody!! The view is unbeatable and theres something so special about having your morning coffee around the fire pit in the front yard and watching the ocean waves. We definitely plan to stay here again for our next trip to SD!

5 Star: Perfect stay This property is EXACTLY as advertised. Fantastic home for a family get away. Plenty of space, very well appointed, beds were comfortable, great linens, fantastically stocked gourmet kitchen and nearly unbeatable views. Less then 10 minutes from tons of restaurants, 15 minutes from the airport. The communication with the owners was great. We will definitely stay here in the future.

5 stars: Great house with a phenomenal view over sunset cliffs. Close proximity to Ocean Beach which our family enjoyed daily. The kitchen had everything you could ever need which made cooking the majority of our meals at the house a breeze. We will definitely be back!

5/5 Lovely Beach House - full of amenities The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. There were four adult couples in our party for a 4-night weekend stay. Everyone raved about the house - the layout is perfect for entertaining - huge kitchen, hot tub, BBQ. My favorite was to have coffee in the front yard in the morning at the fire pit - - just staring at the ocean. Great for sunrise/sunset sky gazing, too.

This house could not have been more perfect for our girls reunion getaway! Everything we could have ever needed was at the house. The kitchen was very well appointed. More than enough bath towels as well as beach towels, soaps, shampoos. The beds were so comfortable. The location was fantastic with unbelievable views of the Pacific Ocean. Perfect for enjoying a glass of wine and sunset. The outdoor space was delightful (even had a hummingbird that visited us every day). We never used the hot tub but did enjoy both the outdoor fire pit and fireplace. If we had any questions, Joseph and Jan were quick to respond. We could not have picked a better place to spend a week with friends!!!

My wife and I, along with our 3 grown children and their families ( 15 of us in total, including 3 infants) spent June 9th - 16th at Cabo Hermosa and we had an outstanding vacation. To begin with, Joseph and Jan were wonderful hosts, quick to respond and helpful in so many ways. We had plenty of room for all of us to sleep (5 bedrooms), and the main floor, patio and porches were wonderful common spaces, with plenty of room to gather, eat, play games and just have great family time. The hot tub and patio are very nice, the grill is great for cooking on, the kitchen is well equipped and spacious, there is a great sound system and were were able to catch the Stanley Cup finals on the TV. It is 2 houses from the Ocean with beautiful views, overlooking cliffs down to the water. It is 5 minutes from nice beaches and close to the bay, where we were able to do some great fishing. If we ever come back to the San Diego area for a vacation, we all agree that this is a great place to stay.

Joseph was very accommodating to meet us at the home when we arrived later than expected. The home was set up perfectly for our family and had the most warm and inviting feel! The kitchen was superb and large enough for many people to help with meals. It was so well stocked with pots, pans, appliances...I don't think it lacked anything! The hot tub was wonderfully appreciated by a few of our adult kids who took surfing lessons in the COLD ocean waters. Our family of 10 adults and one toddler recently stayed at this very beautiful home. This property has been well cared for and has many special touches! We found plenty of living space to spread out and relax. I have several cooks in the family, so the wonderfully large kitchen was a huge delight! . The open floor plan allowed all of us to be together while some cooked in the kitchen and others played games at the dining table. Our family enjoyed the front and back porches which allowed for views of the ocean throughout the day. The location was perfect! We took many walks along the ocean and enjoyed beautiful sunsets almost every day. The weather was a bit cool during our stay so several of us enjoyed the hot tub in the private back yard. Our hosts, Joseph and Jan, were very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions we had. This is a wonderful place and highly recommended!
